Experts told me,
“YOU’LL BE ON MEDICATION FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.”
After being diagnosed with an “incurable” autoimmune disease at the age of 22, Katie began searching for the causes of her disease.
Always having a curiosity and drive to learn more about how the body functions, Katie started to play around with her diet. Soon after removing processed foods and working to achieve a more balanced diet, Katie saw some of her symptoms alleviate.
Her interests in knowing the science behind why these changes were working for her prompted her to sign up for Functional Nutrition schooling. From there, her autoimmune disease was a thing of the past, and she hasn’t lost her passion for learning more about how functional nutrition impacts all areas of life.
